SVOY
A messenger with video calls, on three platforms.

The brief
Messaging is the least forgiving category there is: everyone already has one, and it either feels instant or it feels broken. SVOY had to be a real messenger — one-to-one and group chats, video calls that actually connect — across a browser, an iPhone and a Windows desktop, with no platform company underneath it.
What we did
- One Go server owning the protocol; three clients speaking it
- Web, native iOS and a Windows desktop build off one design system
- Calls on WebRTC with our own signalling, not a vendor SDK
- Self-hosted end to end — the infrastructure is ours, and so is the data
Where it landed
3platforms, one protocol
69TestFlight builds and counting
0vendor SDKs in the call path
The measure of a messenger is whether people stop noticing it. This one they stopped noticing.
